I know that many times especially during the summer and spring time we want to keep our door open and let the nice cool breeze come in. The only problem is keeping out the bugs who like to invite themselves inside our house when we leave the doors open. I think I might have come across a solution to our problem.
The product is the Magnetic Screen Door made by the company Premium Choice Products. It is made of premium mesh and as velcro sewn in the inside area of the mesh. It comes in black. The screen door has an auto snap that shuts it back closed when you come through the door. You have bugs kept out of the house when you want the door. It fits a door up to 34'' x 82".
I have opened it and used it for the first time a few days ago. Since it's fall time right now we can't really have the door open since it's too cold. I have put it up on my bedroom door and it was so easy to set up on my door. Inside the package you have a roll of velcro tape and all you have to do is run it along the edges of the outline of the door. Once you have the tape up then you just attach the actual mesh door up against the velcro tape and there you are all done. It is very strong and once you walk through the mesh door it retracts back and snaps back together to close back keeping any bugs out of the house or room you have the mesh door put up at. The mesh door can be set up and stay up even if you close the door. It will not come down when you come your door either, so you don't have to worry about it falling down. When I had my family over yesterday we had at least 17 or so people come through the mesh door and the adults loved it. We had about 7 kids running in and out of the house and not once did the mesh door attempt to look like it was going to fall down or come off. The mesh door is very strong maybe because of the velcro it has but it's awesome. One thing I can tell you is that my cat is another one who loves walking through my door just because the mesh door is there. She walks in and out of the door all day. I guess because it's something new she wants to mess with it.
I would recommend this mesh door because it is very easy to set up and it really does keep bugs and such out without having to leave your house door or room door closed. It isn't too bad when it comes to the cost too. The mesh for is very strong and keeps up against a lot of people constantly coming in and out.
