The product is the Heat Sealer Capper Family Mini Sealing Machine Food Saver made by the company Pamiso. This product is to be used for plastic bags and mylar bags mainly. It has a magnetic bottom and uses 2 AA batteries to be operated. It will give you an airtight seal.
I first used it on sealing a open bag of chips. To use this sealer, you have to hold it on the edge of the bag and slowly pull the bag through. Squeeze the air out of the bag before sealing it. The only thing I have to say that might be a problem for some people is that the sealer cuts the bag when you press too tightly. For some of the things I sealed this was alright because the bag was better when it was cut when you only had a little bit of food left in the bag. You don't want a big bag with crumbs left in it.
I then used it on a open bag of cereal and it didn't work too good because it cut the bag and skipped some spots on the bag. It did seal most of the bag though. This sealer works a little like a scissor and sealer in one kind of. Another things before I go is that when I used it each time I didn't like that you would get a burning kind of smell, like something is on fire.
