I Love This Hairstyle

The product we will be talking about today is the Natural Hair Gel made by the company FAR Botanicals. The gel is alcohol free and made to be flake-free as well.

I have tried out the gel and I have to say it holds pretty well. I used it when I was curling my hair which I have been natural for about almost two years now. Transitioning from having relaxed hair and going to natural hair has been kind of a journey.

I used this after I use my flexi rods and having them in my hair overnight with a few other products. When the morning comes and I take out my flexi rods and have my hair all curly I make sure to put the gel on each rod with the hair in it so that it stays. When my curls are let down out of the flexi rods, my curls stay in shape, volume and shine with the gel being it it. My hair isn't hard neither like some other gels I have used before.

At other times I have just did what is called a wash and go, where you just wash your hair and just get up and go outside. Most people have done this from time to time and they often add some products to their hair to keep it shiny and curly all day. This gel has helped me with this and it does stay for a good amount of time, well at least majority of the day.

The con I have to say about this gel is that I hate the smell of it. But since it's natural then I knew it wouldn't have such a great smell to it. The thought that it was coconut oil and jojoba oil mixed made me hope that it would smell good because of the coconut oil but that wasn't the case and I guess the jojoba oil over took the coconut oil smell.

The food journal has been a good help for me in my recent start of my weight loss. The journal has many aspects that make it such a really good tool for tracking your weight loss.
